New Brand Identity
Steenland Insurance approached us wanting to create a logo for their new branch “Steenland Kaicos Insurance Agency.” We recommended that while we’re at it, an overall brand update would be a good idea.
Logo Mark
Their old logo was a strange combination of quasi-modern gradients and highly traditional typography. The typography was entirely appropriate to represent the accountability and years of experience that Steenland offers. We took what was great about their logo and built a new brand based on that. The new brand is still recognizable as Steenland and doesn’t alienate long-time clients, but rather welcomes in new clients by highlighting trustworthiness and seriousness.
Color
Steenland’s color palette was and is still traditional and elegant without being pretentious.

Typography
We used Steenland’s original logo font, Trajan, as the primary font family because of its ability to effectively deliver a professional yet approachable feeling.
