Superior’s team places hundreds of thousands of cubic yards of mulch, playground wood fiber, aggregate, compost, green roof soils, and sand each year throughout the United States using the world’s largest fleet of Express Blower® trucks. They are dedicated to providing unmatched service to clients in a variety of industries. When Superior Groundcover came to us to handle all of their marketing needs, they had a website, but it was very outdated. They also had some pieced together brochures, but they were not professional. It was important to Superior to portray the same quality and attention to detail in their marketing materials that is given to every one of their various jobs. It was also key that their print materials and website visually showcased their capabilities so that customers and future customers were able to see that Superior is the best choice for the job.

Expanding the brand
Superior Groundcover already had a logo they liked and that worked in multiple formats. They had a loose color scheme and no typographic standards in place. Prior to working on any projects with Superior, we spent some time fleshing out their brand by determining color and typographic standards.
Brand Guide
We put together a mini-brand guide to guide our work with Superior Groundcover and for them to use moving forward. Their brand feels up-to-date, fresh, and high-quality. The typeface, Value Bold, is human and inviting, conveying the friendly service that Superior offers its customers.
Color
The colors used for Superior Groundcover were inspired by the environments that Superior creates. They are fresh and appealing, and make their service brochures and website bright and inviting.
